i’ve got a 12mm DIN tube fitting on one end and a 1/4 BSPP port on the other. is this the right adapter to tie those together?

For tying those two standards together, it matches a male M18 x 1.5 DIN tube end (L12 for 12mm tube) on one side and a male G 1/4-19 BSPP end on the other.

Got a hydraulic setup running both DIN and BSP components and need something to tie em together without a bunch of thread tape or sealant mess. this adapter gonna hold up without it?

The BSPP side uses an elastomeric seal built right into the fitting, so thread sealant is not needed on that end. The ES seal configuration handles the leak prevention for you. Stainless steel construction keeps corrosion from becoming a problem in mixed-metal or wet environments. For the DIN side, that M18 x 1.5 male thread connects to 12mm tube, and the G 1/4-19 BSPP male side ties into standard quarter-inch BSP ports. Straight configuration, 22mm hex, so a standard wrench gets you where you need to go.
