Does the 2K/2SP run two separate speeds off the same motor, or do you have to swap out components to change between 'em?

Two speeds, one motor, no swapping required. The 2SP designation means the unit is built to handle two distinct speed-torque ranges internally. When you need high torque at low speed, it's there. When you need to push speed and can give up some torque, you shift into that range without pulling anything apart or changing components. That's the main reason this configuration gets used on equipment where conditions change mid-job.
