running a brush cutter setup off a skid steer and need something that can handle the load without burning up. does this motor hold up to that kind of work?
Question by: Donna S on Sep 23, 2025, 9:06 PM
Brush cutter and mower applications are exactly what this motor is built around. The cast iron construction holds up well under the kind of sustained mechanical stress those attachments put on a drive system. At 540 newton metres of torque, there's enough output to keep a heavy-duty cutter turning without the motor struggling. The Geroler design also runs more efficiently than a lot of comparable motors, which helps keep heat down during longer work cycles.
