got a line that’s already M20 x 1.5 on both ends, is this the straight union that’ll tie those together?

For joining two DIN tube connections with matching threads, it uses M20 x 1.5 male threads on both sides, so it fits a setup that needs M20 x 1.5 on each end in a straight union.

Correct on both counts. Each end is M20 x 1.5 male, and both sides are sized for DIN tube connections at the S12 size designation. It's a straight union, so fluid goes right through without any angle or offset. Good pick when you're joining two DIN tube lines in a tight run.
