Product Questions & Answers

Is this the right fitting if I'm tryin to run some air lines on my truck?
Question by: Wade K on Jun 12, 2025, 6:09 AM
This Eaton Aeroquip fitting is designed for air brake systems, but there's a temperature limit of +200°F. Also, it's not made for fuel, water, or oil lines, so you'll need to confirm compatibility with your specific application.

this fitting work for air brake lines on a trailer? seen a lot of brass push-connect fittings but want to make sure it handles the pressures right
Question by: Tammy G on Dec 20, 2025, 5:46 PM
Brass construction and a push-to-connect design make this a solid pick for air brake system work. Eaton Weatherhead built it to exceed SAE pressure standards, so it holds up well in demanding brake line applications. One thing worth knowing upfront: keep it away from any setup where temps climb above 200°F, and it should never be used on fuel, water, or oil lines. Stick to air brake use and it'll do the job.
