This compression union elbow is well-suited for industrial fluid and gas line installations where you might need to take it apart later for maintenance or changes.

For a tight spot where you need a right angle, this fitting gives you a 90 degree change in direction and also has a union-style separable connection on one end. That union setup is what lets you take the joint apart and put it back together later without special tools, which is handy when you know you will need future access.

The union end is what sets it apart. A standard compression elbow just connects two tube ends permanently in place. This one incorporates a separable union joint on one side, so you can disconnect that end of the fitting without cutting anything or disturbing the rest of the tubing run. That comes in real handy when the line needs to be serviced down the road or when the fitting is tucked into a spot that would otherwise be a headache to work around.
