trying to hook a JIC hose up to a metric standpipe port, is this the right adapter?

For that kind of mix-and-match connection, it’s meant to adapt between a 5/8 inch male JIC end with 7/8-14 UNF threads and a 20 mm female DIN standpipe end, in a straight steel fitting.
