Product Questions & Answers

Will this fitting hold up okay in a hydraulic system on a farm tractor, or is it more for lighter duty stuff?
Question by: Wade C on Sep 3, 2025, 9:16 AM
This Adaptall fitting is made of steel, so it should be durable enough for typical hydraulic applications on a farm tractor.

trying to hook a JIC hose up to a metric port, is this the right adapter for that?
Question by: Dale S on Oct 3, 2025, 10:40 AM
For bridging those two thread standards, it’s a straight steel adapter with a male JIC end and a male metric end. Side 1 is 7/8-14 UNF male JIC (5/8 size), and side 2 is M18 x 1.5 male metric (18 mm size).

Got a hydraulic line coming off a metric port at M18 x 1.5 and need to tie into a JIC system on the other end. This the right adapter for that?
Question by: Sherry S on Apr 14, 2025, 7:26 PM
That's what this one's built for. One end is M18 x 1.5 male metric, the other is 7/8-14 UNF male JIC at a 5/8" size. Both ends are male, so you'd need female receivers on both sides of your circuit. It's a straight adapter, steel construction, 39.8mm overall length with a 25.5mm wrench flat for torquing it down clean.
