the smaller end on this fitting comes in at 0.5 inches, so that lines right up with your half-inch tube side. The other end runs 0.75 inches, and both ends are male. It's a two-piece crimp design built around a -8 hose dash size, so as long as your hose assembly matches those specs you're in good shape.
