got a harvester that's been chewing through motors pretty regular, wondering if this one's got better bearing life than what we've been running
Question by: Shane P on Feb 24, 2026, 11:54 AM
Extended bearing life is actually one of the built-in design features on this unit. The Char-Lynn T Series was put together with that specifically in mind, so if premature bearing wear has been the pattern, this motor addresses that directly. It also carries a 441 Nm torque rating and handles up to 57 litres per minute, which puts it in solid territory for harvester duty.

What kind of applications is this motor good for? I'm thinking about using it on some farm equipment.

These Danfoss/Eaton T-motors are often found on agricultural augers, harvesters, and seeders. They're also used on railroad maintenance equipment.

Context wise, this is a Danfoss and Eaton Char-Lynn T Series spool geroler motor, so it matches that T series style used on equipment like agricultural augers.
