torque rating on this one is 219 Nm if I'm reading it right -- is that enough for running a grain auger steady without it bogging down?
Question by: Cheryl L on Jul 27, 2025, 4:49 PM
For agricultural auger work, 219 newton metres is a solid amount of output torque. Augers in that application typically don't demand peak torque continuously, so this motor sits in a reasonable range for that kind of duty. The T-Series is also built from ductile iron, which holds up well under the load cycling that auger drives put a motor through. As long as your system flow stays within the 57 litre per minute rating, you should get consistent performance without the motor laboring under normal grain handling conditions.

For auger-type equipment, the Char-Lynn T Series low-speed gerotor/geroler motor is a common fit in terms of application. It is listed for agricultural augers along with harvesters and seeders.
