Got a machine running SAE O-Ring Boss ports but the hydraulic line coming off it has a BSPP male end on it, will this fitting get me sorted out or am I looking at the wrong part?

You'd have the wrong end of the stick with that setup. This adapter puts Male SAE O-Ring Boss on one side and Male BSPP on the other, so both ends thread into female ports, not onto male ends. If your machine has a female ORB port and your line terminates in a female BSPP connection, then yeah, this is exactly what bridges that gap. The ORB side is 1" with a 1-5/16-12 UN thread and the BSPP side is 1-1/4" running a G 1-1/4-11 thread.

Will this here fitting hold up okay for hooking up a hydraulic line to a BSPP port?

It's made for just that – this steel straight adapter fitting has a Male SAE O-Ring Boss (ORB) on one side for your hydraulic line and a Male BSPP on the other side to connect to your BSPP port.
