Product Questions & Answers

Will this fitting work for nylon tubing? I'm needing a 90-degree elbow.
Question by: Shane S on Mar 9, 2026, 10:58 AM
This male elbow adapter is made from nylon, so it should be compatible with nylon tubing. It's designed as a 90-degree elbow, with a female Line/Hose/Tube connection on one end and a male NPTF connection on the other.

fitting's made of nylon, that gonna hold up okay for regular hydraulic line connections, or is this more of a light-duty thing?
Question by: Dustin S on Aug 15, 2025, 9:53 PM
Nylon construction works well for compression tube fittings in a range of fluid handling setups, and Eaton Aeroquip built this one to exceed standard SAE pressure ratings, so it's not a weak link by default. The Dura-Kote plating adds a layer of corrosion resistance on top of that. Just make sure your application lines up with what nylon can handle in terms of temperature and chemical exposure, since those factors vary by system.
