what's the thread size on the male end of this fitting? trying to match it up to a 3/8 port on a manifold block

The male end runs 3/8 NPTF, so it'll thread right into a standard 3/8 NPTF port without any adapters in between. The female tube side accepts 1/4 inch line, so just make sure your tubing matches that before you order.

got a 1/4 line coming in and need to turn 90 degrees into a 3/8 NPTF port, is this the right elbow?

For that hookup, the sizes on this adapter match what you described. One end is a 0.25 line or hose or tube female connection, and the other end is a 0.375 NPTF male, in a 90 degree elbow.
