Product Questions & Answers

Will this nylon connector hold up okay in an oily environment?
Question by: Ronnie P on May 26, 2025, 9:23 PM
This Eaton male connector is made from molded nylon, which offers good resistance to many chemicals and oils. However, for specific compatibility, it's always best to double-check with the fluid manufacturer.

got a nylon tube line i need to tie into a BSPP port, is this the right kind of straight adapter?
Question by: Hank H on Mar 21, 2026, 11:24 AM
For tying a line, hose, or tube connection into a BSPP male port in a straight configuration, that is exactly what this part is. It is a line or hose or tube to BSPP male straight adapter made from nylon.

what's the thread type on the male end of this fitting? trying to make sure it'll hook up right to my existing port before I order
Question by: Danny E on Oct 10, 2025, 9:48 PM
The male end runs a BSPP thread, sized at 1/8 inch. That's a British Standard Parallel Pipe thread, so make sure your mating port is spec'd for BSPP and not NPT, since those two won't seal properly together even though they can look similar at a glance. The female/tube side accepts half-inch line or hose connections. Get those two ends matched up and you should be good to go.
