Can you run sealant on this thing, or is it already good to go?

This fitting comes with pre-applied thread sealant, so you should be all set for a tight, leak-free assembly right out of the box.

Got a -12 hose I'm trying to terminate and need a 3/4 NPT male end on the port side. This fitting work for that?

For a -12 hose with a 3/4 NPTF male end, yeah this is the right part. It's a 2-piece crimp fitting with a 0.75-inch NPTF male rigid end, built specifically for that hose dash size. The NPTF thread form is a dry-seal design, and it also comes with pre-applied thread sealant, so you're getting a tight connection without having to mess with tape or paste on assembly.
