Will this fitting work to connect a 1/4" BSPP male to a M22 X 1.5 metric male? Just making sure I'm understanding the description right.

Got a metric port on a manifold block calling out M22 x 1.5 and need to tie into a BSPP line running G 1/4 - 19. this adapter do that job straight across?

That's what this one's built for. One end is G 1/4-19 BSPP male and the other is M22 x 1.5 metric male, so it bridges those two thread standards in a single straight fitting. Steel construction, 32.1mm long, 27mm wrench flats. As long as your port and your line match those callouts, it'll drop right in.
