got a small hose run on a piece of equipment, would this work for hydraulics and fuel too

Temperatures dropping down to -40 degrees will not be an issue for the synthetic rubber tube. The manufacturer also notes proven reliability against high heat.

Both applications are legitimate for this hose. The 1503 Series carries a SAE 100R5 rating and meets DOT FMVSS 106 compliance, which covers fuel and hydraulic service. The synthetic rubber inner tube handles gasoline, lubricating oils, and hydraulic fluid. The polyester and wire braid reinforcement keeps it stable under pressure across those uses. It is not a case of one rating being stretched to cover another.

got a fuel line job coming up. is this 1503 series hose ok for gasoline and oils or is it more of a hydraulic-only deal?
