Product Questions & Answers

got some equipment that stays outside all winter so it gets pretty cold. what is the lowest temp this hose is rated for and will it hold up to standard gasoline
Question by: Pete S on Jun 27, 2025, 9:09 PM
Cold weather won't be an issue since the minimum working temperature is -40 degrees. It handles standard gasoline without any problems and also works great for hydraulics, air, and lubricating oils.

got a piece of equipment that sees a lot of rubbing and heat, is this Aeroquip hose built for that kind of abuse?
Question by: Tony B on Apr 15, 2025, 9:35 AM
In rough service where the hose is getting scuffed up and running hot, this one fits the bill with a highly abrasion resistant textile cover and proven reliability with high temperature resistance. It’s also rated for a 500000 impulse cycle life, which speaks to long-term durability.

hose is rated for fuel lines too, or just hydraulic fluid?
Question by: Judy R on Aug 21, 2025, 8:36 AM
Fuel lines are well within its range. The 1503-20 is built to handle gasoline, hydraulic fluid, lubricating oils, and air all in one hose family. The synthetic rubber tube and polyester-and-wire reinforcement hold up across those media without needing a separate hose for each application. That's a big part of why this line exists in the first place.
