Product Questions & Answers

hose says it works for fuel and hydraulics both, is that actually right or is it just listed that way?
Question by: Roy R on Aug 14, 2025, 5:51 PM
Both are legitimate uses for this hose. The 1503-12 runs on a synthetic rubber tube with polyester and wire reinforcement, and it carries SAE 100R5 and SAE J1402 certifications, which cover hydraulic and fuel service respectively. Gasoline, lubricating oils, and air are all listed applications. One hose covering that range is exactly the point of this series.

got a -12 hose run on a fuel setup, is this 1503-12 meant for that kind of service?
Question by: Chad C on Jan 22, 2026, 7:20 PM
For fuel and engine related lines, this hose is rated for hydraulics, air, gasoline, fuel, and lubricating oils. It is an Eaton Aeroquip 1503 Series hose with a synthetic rubber tube and a textile cover, so it fits the kind of mixed fluid use you see on equipment and engine compartments.
