got a tight spot on my hose run. is this a right angle fitting and does it swivel when you’re putting it on

For cramped layouts, the 90 degree elbow shape helps route lines without needing a big bend, and the swivel design makes it easier to get everything lined up during installation and maintenance.

Is this thing adjustable at all, or is it a fixed 90 degree angle?

It's a fixed 90-degree angle. This fitting doesn't require any adjustments after installation, which helps minimize downtime.

Does this fitting work for permanent installations or is it something you'd need to fiddle with and readjust over time?

Once it's in place, you're done. The swivel 90 from Brennan is non-adjustable, meaning there's no periodic realignment or repositioning needed after installation. That's actually one of the reasons folks running tight hydraulic setups prefer it. Less to mess with down the road.
