got a tight spot on a hydraulic line, is this the kind of 90 that’ll swivel so i can get it lined up?

In tight or cramped runs, the 90 degree swivel is what helps. It lets you transition between a #6 male pipe thread and a #8 female pipe thread while giving you some rotation to get the connection oriented without fighting the angle.

Will this fitting hold up if I'm constantly swiveling it around, or is it more for set-it-and-forget-it type deals?

Designed to offer flexibility, this fitting features a 90-degree swivel that should accommodate regular adjustments within hydraulic systems, so it will work for you.

Got a #6 male pipe thread on my hydraulic line and need to tie into a #8 female pipe connection at a right angle. This the fitting that'll do that job?
Question by: Sheila R on Aug 4, 2025, 4:52 PM
That's what this one's built for. The 1501-06-08 runs a #6 male pipe thread on one end and a #8 female pipe thread on the other, with a 90-degree swivel to give you that angled transition between the two. The swivel action is what makes it useful in tight spots where a fixed fitting would leave you fighting the geometry of the install.
