The adapter's overall length is 1.910 mm, so it should work in compact installations.

What thread types are on each end of this adapter, and will they match up to standard hydraulic fittings?

One end carries a 3/4-14 Female NPTF thread built to SAE J476, and the other end runs a 1/2-14 Female NPSM Swivel thread per SAE J514. Both specs are widely recognized in hydraulic hydraulic connections, so they'll line up with male NPTF and male NPSM fittings that meet those same standards.
