What kind of pressure can this straight adapter handle?

got a hose end that’s 1/2-14 female swivel. will this adapter mate up and give me 3/8-18 nptf on the other side?

Thread-wise, it matches that setup. One end is a 1/2-14 female NPSM swivel (SAE J514) and the other end is a 3/8-18 male NPTF (SAE J476), so it’s a straight adapter between those two thread types.
