Product Questions & Answers

Both ends are M18 x 1.5 DIN tube, but one's male and one's female, does that mean this fitting can connect two lines inline or is it meant to join a male DIN port on equipment directly?
Question by: Dustin P on Jul 4, 2025, 6:56 AM
The male end threads into a female DIN port, and the female end receives a male DIN tube fitting, so you're building a swivel connection at a 45-degree angle between two points in a hydraulic line. It's not a straight inline coupler. The 45-degree elbow shape means you're using it where the line needs to change direction and you want rotational flexibility at that joint to reduce stress on the tubing.

got a tight spot, is this elbow the 45 degree style and does one end swivel?
Question by: Brett S on Dec 23, 2025, 8:07 PM
Built as a 45° elbow, it gives you an angled turn, and the female DIN tube end is a swivel for easier alignment during hookup.

Just want to make sure, this is a 45 degree elbow, right? Don't want to order the wrong thing.

Correct, this Adaptall fitting is a 45-degree elbow. It's designed for DIN tube connections on both ends, one male and one female, both M18 X 1.5, and size S10.
