At 15,990 newton metres of torque, this is a serious unit for heavy-load applications. Low-speed performance is one of the core strengths of the ME4100-HE. Axial piston motors in this class are specifically built to maintain efficiency and output at reduced speeds, which is where a lot of industrial drives struggle. Starting torque is also notably high on this one, so getting a loaded system moving from a dead stop is not a concern.
