Is this here motor gonna be a straight swap for my old Char-Lynn?

It's an axial piston motor from the Char-Lynn Dowmax series, so if you're replacing a similar motor, the dimensions and specs should line up. Just double-check the torque rating (5250 newton metres) and the width (14.3 inches) to be sure.

What kind of torque output are we talking about on this motor, and is it built for slow-speed work or more of a high-RPM setup?

At 5,250 newton metres of torque, this is very much a low-speed, high-torque machine. The axial piston design is what makes that possible. You get strong starting torque right off the bat, which matters a lot in industrial applications where you need the load moving before speed ever becomes a factor. High-RPM operation is not what this motor is built around.
