Hey, will this thing actually deliver good power even when it's turning real slow?

This Char-Lynn ME 850 series piston motor is designed to give you high performance even at those low speeds, along with some serious starting torque.

Torque rating on this one says 3708 newton meters, is that actually enough grunt for heavy industrial duty, or is this more of a mid-range unit?
Question by: Rhonda T on Nov 13, 2025, 12:53 PM
3708 newton meters is a serious torque figure. For most heavy industrial applications that need reliable low-speed torque delivery, that output puts this motor well into capable territory. The ME 850 Series is built around high starting torque and strong overall efficiency, so it holds up under load conditions where other motors start to fall off. If your machinery depends on consistent torque rather than just peak bursts, this is the kind of motor that earns its keep over a long run.
