Compact packaging is one of the big draws here. The motor is listed at 2.37 inches wide, which helps when you are trying to tuck it into a crowded setup.

Running a grain auger setup and need something that won't quit on me mid-season. That 38 newton meter torque rating, is that enough muscle for heavy auger work, or is this more of a light-duty motor?
Question by: Harvey C on Oct 17, 2025, 3:29 PM
For grain auger applications, 38 newton meters is right in the working range this motor was built for. Agricultural augers are literally one of the listed use cases, so you're not pushing it into territory it wasn't meant for. The cast iron construction adds to that confidence, it's not a lightweight build. The Geroler configuration also gives you smooth, controllable low-speed operation, which matters when you're moving grain and don't want surging or inconsistent flow through the auger.
