got a female DIN tube end with M52 x 2.0 on it, will this reducer step me down to the M45 x 2.0 male side?

It adapts a female DIN tube end M52 x 2.0 (L42) over to a male DIN tube end M45 x 2.0 (L35), so it is meant for that exact step-down.
