Product Questions & Answers

got a female DIN tube end that’s M22 x 1.5. will this step it down to a male M14 x 1.5?
Question by: Dustin Y on Jul 14, 2025, 3:46 PM
It steps between two DIN tube sizes by going from a female M22 x 1.5 (L15) on one side to a male M14 x 1.5 (L08) on the other, so it’s meant for exactly that kind of reduction.

What exactly is this reducer doing in a hydraulic line, and which end connects where?
Question by: Marvin S on Mar 25, 2026, 12:17 PM
One side carries a female DIN tube connection with an M22 x 1.5 thread, and the other side is a male DIN tube connection with an M14 x 1.5 thread. So in practical terms, you're stepping down from a larger tube fitting to a smaller one in a straight run. The female end receives the larger fitting, and the male end threads into the smaller port. Both sides are DIN tube type, so there's no mixing of connection standards here, just a size reduction within the same fitting family.

Will this here reducer fit right on my DIN setup, or is it one of them metric deals that's *close* but not quite?
Question by: Todd F on Mar 19, 2026, 6:15 PM
This reducer's DIN connections are designed to meet standard DIN specifications. Side 1 is a female DIN tube with an M22 x 1.5 thread (L15 size), while Side 2 is a male DIN tube with an M14 x 1.5 thread (L08 size).
