That's right. Specifically, this reducer adapts from a female M16 x 1.5 (L10) DIN fitting down to a male M12 x 1.5 (L06) DIN fitting.

got a hose end that’s M16 x 1.5 DIN (L10) but the line I’m tying into is M12 x 1.5 (L06). Is this the right reducer?

For stepping down between those two DIN tube sizes, it matches that exact combo. Side 1 is a female M16 x 1.5 (L10) DIN tube connection, and side 2 is a male M12 x 1.5 (L06) DIN tube connection, all in a straight inline adapter.
