We run injection molding equipment pretty hard and noise is always a complaint from the floor. Does this pump actually make a noticeable difference or is that just marketing talk?

Real reduction in operating noise is built into the design of this pump. The PVM Series is rated at 50% less noise compared to conventional piston pumps, which is a meaningful difference in a production environment. For injection molding floors where machines are running close together, that kind of reduction does get noticed by operators over a shift.
