Think of it as a tee adapter that joins two push-to-connect tube runs and branches them to a third port that is an NPTF male connection. It is a swivel male BCH tee style, made from brass, and it is built for push-to-connect hydraulic connections setups.

what kind of tubing can this tee fitting actually work with? got nylon and polyurethane lines running together on the same setup and need something that'll handle both without having to swap out fittings

Both of those tubing types work with this fitting. It's rated for nylon, polyurethane down to 90A durometer, polyethylene, and PVC, so running mixed tubing lines off the same tee isn't a problem here. The push-to-connect ends on both female ports make swapping or connecting different tubing types straightforward without a lot of extra hardware.
