got a 1/8 NPTF port and need to hook up a push to connect air line, is this the right adapter

does this thing come in brass or is it some kind of coated steel? trying to keep rust out of my air lines for good

Brass all the way through. No coatings masking a cheaper base metal underneath. Brass holds up well against corrosion on its own, and this fitting also carries Dura-Kote plating on top of that for extra protection. For compressed air and pneumatic setups where moisture is always a concern, that combination works well over the long haul.
