all three ends on this are push-to-connect, right? just wanna make sure before i order

Correct on all three ports. Each end accepts a 5/16-inch push-to-connect fitting, so you get a full tee configuration without any threaded connections to deal with. Works well for splitting or joining lines in compressed air, pneumatic instrumentation, and similar setups where quick assembly matters.

trying to tee off a 5/16 line, is this the kind that takes push-to-connect on all three sides?

Built as a union tee, it has three female push-to-connect ends, each sized 0.3125 inch, so it matches 5/16 inch tubing on all three connections.
