Part number on my old motor is worn off but I matched it to the M0638A00A0000F through the model series. That Char-Lynn designation mean it's built by Eaton, or is Danfoss the actual manufacturer on these now?

Char-Lynn is the product line, and the brand has moved through both Eaton and Danfoss over the years due to acquisitions. What you'll find in the market today is that Danfoss carries the Char-Lynn name forward, so seeing both names on a part number like this one is normal and expected. The motor itself belongs to that Char-Lynn lineage regardless of which name appears on the documentation you're working from.
