You are in the right lane. It’s a low-speed Gerotor or Geroler style motor in the Eaton Char-Lynn 2000 Series, built around a disc Geroler design.

Will this Eaton Char-Lynn motor work okay for snow removal equipment?
Question by: Curt M on Apr 30, 2025, 6:23 AM
Given its applications include snow removal, this motor should be suitable for that purpose. It's also used in mobile equipment, mowing, sprayers, trenchers, and wood product machinery.

torque rating on this one says 735 newton metres, is that enough for running a trencher or wood chipper attachment off a skid steer?
Question by: Glen B on Oct 23, 2025, 12:07 PM
For trencher and wood products applications, 735 Nm of continuous torque is a solid number. The Char-Lynn 2000 Series Geroler motors are specifically listed for both trenching and wood products use, so the application match is there. At 150 liters per minute flow capacity, you've got enough headroom to push through demanding cutting loads without starving the motor. Just make sure your hydraulic circuit can supply that flow rate consistently under load and you should be in good shape.
