got a harvester that keeps burning through motors and someone told me the bearingless setup on these Char-Lynn 4000s might fit better in tight spots, that accurate?

Bearingless motors like this one are built specifically for situations where space is tight or where the motor mounts directly to the driven component. Without a bearing assembly taking up room, the overall footprint stays smaller, which makes them a solid fit for compact drive arrangements on harvesters and similar ag equipment. The cast iron housing holds up well in those kinds of working conditions too.
