What kind of corrosion protection does this switch assembly have? Running equipment outdoors in rough conditions and need something that'll hold up.

Dura-Kote plating covers the exterior, which gives it solid resistance to corrosion in harsh operating environments. For outdoor or exposure-heavy setups, that coating does a good job of holding up against the kind of wear that would eat through an uncoated assembly over time.
