Danfoss / Eaton Weatherhead 105X5 Tube Nut

This Danfoss/Eaton Weatherhead tube nut features Dura-Kote plating, which gives it excellent corrosion resistance.

Carbon steel tube nuts like this one get a zinc clear trivalent chromate finish, which is what Eaton calls their Dura-Kote plating. That treatment gives it better corrosion resistance than a plain steel part, so it holds up reasonably well when exposed to moisture or outdoor environments. It's not a stainless piece, but the plating does meaningful work keeping rust from taking hold under normal service conditions.
