what exactly is the "end port" setup on this motor, does that affect how it mounts up or just where the hydraulic lines come in?

End port means the hydraulic connections come out of the face of the motor rather than the side. That placement can make a real difference in tight installations where side-ported lines would be in the way or hard to route. It doesn't change how the motor itself mounts mechanically, just gives you a cleaner straight-in line connection at the end.
