Product Questions & Answers

Running a swing motor application and trying to figure out if this Char-Lynn unit can keep up with the flow demands. What's the max flow rate on this thing?
Question by: Terry G on Sep 29, 2025, 8:28 PM
Rated at 75 litres per minute, so for most swing motor setups that's plenty of headroom. The 2000 Series Geroler design is also known for having the lowest pressure drop in its class, which means you're not bleeding off efficiency just moving fluid through the motor. That combination of flow capacity and low pressure drop is what makes it a solid fit for swing applications where you need consistent torque without a sluggish response.

For brush cutters and mowers, this Char-Lynn 2000 Series disc Geroler motor is a match on application. It is also commonly used as a swing motor and in harvesting equipment.

What kinda equipment would this motor be good for? I'm thinkin' about harvestin' stuff, maybe brush hoggin'.
Question by: Norm B on Nov 19, 2025, 11:24 AM
Harvesting equipment and brush cutters are definitely in this motor's wheelhouse. It's also used in swing motor applications.
