running a grain auger setup and need something with real torque behind it, does 528 newton metres hold up for that kind of work?
Question by: Jean R on Sep 19, 2025, 7:22 PM
For agricultural auger applications, 528 Nm is a solid output. That torque level is well within the range of what drives heavy grain auger loads without straining the motor under normal operating conditions. The S Series Geroler design also supports low-speed operation, which pairs well with auger work where you want controlled, steady movement rather than high RPM.

i’ve got a Char-Lynn motor on an auger, how do i make sure this one’s the right replacement without guessing

Match it up by the supplier part number. This motor is listed as 103-3085-012 (SKU 103-3085). If your old motor tag shows that same number, you are looking at the same unit.
