Product Questions & Answers

Does this display work with both CANopen and J1939 setups, or do you have to pick one over the other?
Question by: Earl R on Jul 23, 2025, 7:10 PM
Both protocols are supported on this unit, so you're not locked into one or the other. That kind of dual-protocol compatibility makes it a solid fit for machines that use J1939 on the powertrain side while running CANopen elsewhere in the control architecture. A lot of mobile equipment falls into that mixed setup, so having both covered out of the box saves a good bit of integration headache.

need a screen i can actually read outside on a machine, is this one any good in the sun?
Question by: Harold P on Feb 2, 2026, 9:26 AM
For outdoor and mobile equipment, the optically bonded 4.3 inch display assembly is built for strong sunlight viewability, so the screen stays more legible in bright conditions than a typical non bonded display.

Reckon this display can handle being out in the sun all day?
Question by: Roy C on Aug 19, 2025, 1:54 PM
Optically bonded display assembly gives it best-in-class sunlight viewability, so you shouldn't have any trouble seeing it even in direct sunlight.
