im needing to know if the lever comes on this 6 inch male bauer coupler or if its just the shank

The lever is included directly on the 6-inch male Bauer coupler end. You get the hose shank connection on one side and the complete male coupler with the locking lever on the other side. It is an Echelon Supply and Service part.

The hose shank is the barbed fitting end that slides into the inside of a hose and gets secured with a clamp or ferrule. On this coupling, one end is that shank connection and the other end is the 6-inch male Bauer-style lever coupler. So you're getting a direct hose-to-Bauer connection in a single fitting without any extra adapters in between.
