Running an auger setup on a harvester and need something that'll hold up to real torque loads. What's this motor putting out?
Question by: Shawn T on Aug 23, 2025, 10:50 AM
At 302 newton metres of torque, it handles heavy rotational loads without breaking a sweat. That rating puts it well within range for demanding ag work like augers and harvesters, which is exactly the kind of duty this motor was built around. The cast iron construction helps it hold up under sustained stress too, so you're not looking at something that's going to wear out fast in a hard-use setup.

got a low-speed setup on an auger. is this one of them Char-Lynn motors that’ll work for that kind of job?

For low-speed hydraulic drives, this is an Eaton Char-Lynn H Series spool geroler motor, and the listed applications include agricultural augers along with harvesters and seeders.
