got a motor with 1-1/4 code 61 split flange ports now. are these ports the same deal, 4-bolt and all?
Question by: Cody H on Dec 21, 2025, 7:29 PM
Port-wise, it uses 1-1/4 Code 61 split flange ports with a 4-bolt split flange pattern. The port type is called out as a 31.75 mm (1.250 in) diameter 4-bolt split flange with staggered ports and .4375-14 UNC-2B tapped mounting holes.

what's the max back pressure this motor can handle before you'd need to run an external case drain line?
Question by: Judy C on Jul 8, 2025, 12:38 PM
Without a case drain, the motor handles up to 300 PSI of back pressure. Once you're running continuous back pressure above that, you'll need to tie in an external case drain line. Keep that line positioned so the motor case stays full of fluid at all times or you risk running it dry internally.
