So, this fitting needs a 30 degree seat on the male pipe, right? Just wanna make sure I'm getting the right part to connect to it.

That's correct. All Power Team male fittings come with that 30 degree seat, except for models 9687 and 9688. Gotta have that internal 30° seat to get a good seal.
