Will this coupler work with any standard 3/8" hydraulic hose?

does this coupler work for swapping out cylinders on a 10,000 psi hydraulic setup, or is it only meant for lower pressure stuff

Full 10,000 psi operation is what this fitting was built around. It uses a threaded union-type connection, so swapping cylinders in and out is quick and straightforward. Each half has a precision ball valve that shuts off tight when the coupler is separated, and you can break it from the pump at zero pressure with minimal oil loss. Good fit for high-pressure jack and cylinder work.
